Plug Power main focus is on Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell type of technology.
In May 2013, Plug Power company’s 14% was acquired by French company Air Liquide. Air Liquide is a leading producer of industrial gasses including hydrogen to European Space Agency. It is one of the largest supplier of industrial gasses in the world.
