Solid Oxide Fuel Cell - SOFC

A solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) produces electricity from oxidizing a fuel. Fuel cells can be of different electrolyte materials. Advantage of this type of Fuel Cells is very high efficiency, stability as well as low emission. Disadvantages are: longer start up time and very high temperatures.
