Alkaline Fuel Cell
The alkaline fuel cell (AFC) is considered to be one of the widely used fuel cell technologies. Alkaline Fuel Cell were used by USA space agency in 1960 and helped NASA to put a man on the moon. AFC type of cells use hydrogen and oxygen with water, heat and electricity being its product. These type of cells are more efficient with efficiency rate reaching 60%-70%.
